Position Summary
Connect Health + Wellness is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dentist to join our team in providing high-quality clinical dental care to a diverse patient population at our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Dental Clinics in Msrtinsville Virginia and Patrick Springs Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to serving underserved communities and be ready to work alongside dental students, staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care: Provide a wide range of dental services, including examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Supervision: Serve as an Adjunct Faculty Member for Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, supervising dental students in clinical settings.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and available treatment options.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, Medical Director, and interdisciplinary team to improve service delivery and patient care.
- Policy Development: Assist in developing and revising dental department policies and protocols to ensure the best practices.
- Community Outreach: Engage in community outreach to educate and provide technical assistance related to oral health.
- Program Planning: Participate in planning initiatives for the Dental Clinic and broader organizational goals.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to regulations and contribute to quality assurance efforts.
- Consultation: Provide expert consultation on dental health issues to the CEO, Board of Directors, and medical teams.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
