A thriving partner hospital in Brandon, FL, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Located conveniently near Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater, this practice offers a broad range of services for multiple species, including dogs, cats, horses, pigs, exotics, and even zoo animals. The clinic boasts a spacious 7,000 sq ft facility with seven exam rooms and a separate surgery building. Diagnostic tools include ultrasound, therapy laser, and digital radiology, ensuring high-quality care for patients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide veterinary care with a relationship-based approach, ensuring strong connections with patients and clients
  • Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to enhance the practice’s quality of care
  • Foster growth within the team through support and guidance, utilizing the clinic’s internal LevelUp training program
  • Manage a varied caseload, including routine appointments, surgeries, and emergency cases
  • Contribute to patient care with the use of advanced diagnostic tools and cutting-edge technology
  • Develop and maintain relationships within the local Brandon community, becoming a trusted partner in animal care

 

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
  • Active, valid license to practice veterinary medicine in Florida (or the ability to obtain licensure)
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on client education and collaboration
