A partner hospital in Brandon, FL is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This leadership position is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled veterinarian to deliver outstanding patient care while guiding and managing a team in a modern, supportive environment.
Medical Care: Provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery for a variety of animals
Surgical & Procedural Care: Perform surgeries and medical procedures to address patients' needs
Team Leadership: Manage and lead the veterinary team, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality care
Treatment Plans: Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient
Client Education: Educate clients on pet care, treatment options, and preventive care
Collaboration: Work closely with the practice manager and leadership team to align goals and maintain the hospital’s high standards of care
DVM (or equivalent) degree from an AVMA-accredited college
At least 5 years of veterinary experience with a focus on hands-on clinical skills
Strong clinical skills in diagnosing, treating, and performing surgeries
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both clients and staff
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting
Active Florida license in good standing (or ability to obtain)
