A partner hospital in Brandon, FL is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This leadership role is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled veterinarian to provide top-notch patient care while managing a strong veterinary team in a modern and supportive environment.

Responsibilities of the Lead Veterinarian:

• Medical Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to animals, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery.
• Surgical and Procedural Care: Perform surgeries and various medical procedures.
• Team Leadership: Manage and lead the veterinary team, ensuring high-quality care and efficient operations.
• Treatment Plans: Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients.
• Client Education: Educate clients on proper pet care and treatment options.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the practice manager and leadership team to ensure goals are met and maintain the hospital’s high standards of care.

Qualifications:

• DVM or equivalent degree from an AVMA-accredited college.
• At least 5 years of experience as a veterinarian.
• Strong clinical skills and hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team.
• Active license in good standing to practice in Florida or the ability to obtain one.
