11 AM - 11 PM shift
One APP shift daily, 7 days/week

Requirements
Board Certified PA
Must be local
Clean background for quick credentialing
Michigan License
DEA
ACLS/ATLS
Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience

Assignment Details
Fast Track to ED
EMR: Cerner
Level 3 ED
10-bed department
50 bed hours
60% of hospital admissions come from ED
20% of ED patients admitted daily

Facility Staffing Structure
Permanent providers cover part of the month
Emergency medicine residents average two shifts/day
Single doctor coverage from 2 AM - 8 AM daily
Peak coverage: 3 doctors on duty from 2 PM - 6 PM
Attending physicians available 24/7 for case review
No supervision required for resident cases

Annual ER volume: 40,150
Patient volume: 110 per day, divided among providers
Admin Orders: Bed requested by ED; admission orders entered by IM/surgical residents
