Job Details:
• Manage approximately 16-20 patient encounters per shift in a 23-bed emergency department
• Work in a Level 0 trauma center with comprehensive 24-hour support services
• Access to 24-hour availability of multiple specialties including Anesthesia, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Catheterization Lab, General Surgery, Laboratory, Neuro-Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology, and Vascular Surgery
• No newborn deliveries received in the ED, though there is an L&D department on-site
• Board certification required with opportunity for those with fellowship training
• Must be eligible for Indiana medical licensure (no IMLC accepted)
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60-90 days
• Nearest airport is Indianapolis International Airport
• Additional opportunity may be available at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel
Compensation:
