A well-established 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Full-Time Emergency Veterinarian to join its collaborative and dedicated team. Whether you're an experienced ER vet or a new graduate eager to build your skills, this position offers a dynamic, high-volume environment where your work will make a real impact.

About the Hospital

This modern, fully equipped emergency facility provides advanced care for companion animals and exotics. With dedicated day and night shift teams, the hospital handles a diverse and exciting caseload:

  • Trauma, poisoning, and acute illnesses

  • Emergency surgeries and intensive care

  • Exotic animal emergencies

You’ll be supported by highly trained technicians and veterinarians in a team-first culture that values professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat emergency and critical care cases

  • Perform emergency surgeries and stabilization procedures

  • Communicate effectively with clients under high-stress conditions

  • Collaborate with peers and support staff in a fast-paced setting

Ideal Candidate

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited school (or ECFVG/PAVE equivalent)

  • Licensed (or eligible) in Florida

  • Enjoys working in a collaborative, team-based culture
