EP Cardiology job in undefined IL

Overview:
We are seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to provide consistent coverage for our expanding cardiac surgery and structural heart program.

This opportunity offers a mix of clinic, ambulatory procedures, and inpatient call coverage.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Approx. 15 shifts/month
• Coverage: Clinic, procedures, inpatient consults, and call
• Call: 24-hour coverage; telephone response within 30 minutes
• EMR: Epic
• Travel, lodging, airfare, rental car, mileage, and parking provided

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services
• Perform diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, including:
  • Pacemaker and ICD insertion, revision, replacement, and removal
  • Rhythm conversion
  • Cardiac rhythm measurement (percutaneous approach)
  • Cardiac ablation procedures
  • Watchman device implantation
  • Loop recorder implantation and removal
• Consult on patients admitted under hospitalist and ICU services
• Participate in multidisciplinary cardiac surgery and structural heart patient care

Requirements:

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Active Illinois medical license
• DEA, CSR, and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
