Overview

Houston Heart Health is seeking a full-time Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing practice in Dayton, TX (Liberty County).

The ideal physician will demonstrate strong clinical expertise in primary care, preventive medicine, and the management of chronic diseases. We value a patient-centered approach, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to serving our community.

This is a full-time career opportunity offering a competitive base salary, incentive-based bonus structure, malpractice coverage, CME allowance, and long-term growth potential. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and hold an active Texas Medical License, or be in the process of obtaining one.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care, including preventive services, chronic disease management, and acute care for adult patients.
• Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications, preventive screenings, and disease management strategies.
• Collaborate with specialists, advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records.
• Follow clinical guidelines and safety protocols to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to advancing healthcare access and improving the well-being of patients in Liberty County.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Texas Medical License (or in process)
• J1 visa candidates encouraged to apply
