CMDA Placement Services

Maryland

Independent practice in western Maryland is looking to recruit a new member to our full spectrum primary care team. This position will serve the community through office, hospital in-patient and obstetrical care. In addition to family medicine, our team performs over 150 deliveries a year! This includes C-sections and epidurals on a regular basis allowing for a unique opportunity to practice this level of medicine on the east coast.

We are currently recruiting physicians that are interested in full spectrum primary care (Family Medicine and Obstetrics) in a rural setting. We are a busy independent practice situated in the Appalachian Mountains of Western Maryland. Our office is conveniently located adjacent to the hospital campus which enables our team to provide outpatient medical care as well as obstetrics and in-patient care.

Call coverage is expected to be 1 out of every 4 weeks with a flexible office schedule. Physicians just starting their careers will have the opportunity to work alongside our staff of experienced Family Medicine/Obstetric care providers as our team performs over 150 deliveries a year including cesarean sections and epidurals. We offer loan repayment assistance, 401k, health benefits, flexible schedule, and a competitive salary.

With nearly 30 years of service the practice is a well-regarded entity in the community. Between our three primary care providers we offer a combined 75 years of family practice and obstetrical experience. Our team remains active in our church homes and the community. We also encourage one another to participate in short term mission trips, as the broad scope of our rural Family Medicine allows us to be comfortable with the dynamics of third-world medicine.

Each of our physicians are followers of Christ and we realize that we have been given the privilege of combining the practice of Family medicine with the sharing of our faith. We strive to show Christ s compassion, love, and service to those we care for. When God opens the door, we share the gospel with our patients and encourage those patients who are already believers. We pray frequently for our patients, and with permission, we pray with them before a surgery or during a hardship in life. Our faith is at the center of who we are and we try to make that known.
