We have an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician to join a vibrant practice in Plymouth, Indiana, located near the University of Notre Dame. This facility offers a unique opportunity to work in a safety net clinic environment, focusing primarily on outpatient care. Enjoy a collaborative atmosphere with two physicians and a nurse practitioner.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assess, evaluate, and treat patients in both hospital and medical office settings.
  • Work collaboratively with supervising physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Cater to a diverse patient demographic, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • Perform basic procedures and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Opportunities for clinical teaching with St. Joseph Health System Family Medicine residents.
  • Maintain adherence to the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Provide patient education on medical conditions and treatment methodologies.
  • Reassess patient care plans and modify as necessary to achieve health goals.
  • Participate in quality assurance and compliance audits.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in handling schedule coverage and service excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Family Medicine (preferred) or Internal Medicine.
  • Indiana medical license (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • DEA certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience working with patients across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • EPIC EMR knowledge is highly preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • COVID vaccination.
  • Eligibility for an Indiana medical license.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and DEA or willingness to obtain.
