Responsibilities and Duties
- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Conduct sick call assessments and infirmary rounding
- Manage chronic care and preventative care procedures
- Oversee preventative care clinics
- Participate in infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases
- Handle trauma triage and urgent medical situations
- Maintain accurate charting notes and medical records
- Manage medication refills and address med non-compliance issues
- Conduct morning lines for follow-ups, suture removal, and other patient care activities
Additional Information
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Previous correctional facility experience is beneficial
- Must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania
