Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Medical-Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse for a high-priority opening in Gainesville, Florida. This role is ideal for experienced Med-Surg nurses who are comfortable floating across multiple units and managing diverse patient populations.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Float Pool RN provides patient-centered care across multiple Med-Surg units. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and strong clinical skills to ensure consistent, high-quality care across varying patient assignments.

SCHEDULE
• Days or nights available
• Rotating weekends required

COMPENSATION
• Hourly rate $30.00 to $43.20 based on experience
• Sign-on bonus available case by case
• Night differential $4.25/hr
• Weekend differential $3.00/hr

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver patient care across multiple Med-Surg units
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatments and medications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Efficiently manage time, supplies, and patient assignments

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med-Surg RN experience required
• Candidates must be currently working in Med-Surg
• Must be flexible to float across multiple units
• Active RN license required (Florida or compact)
• Must obtain Florida license within required timeframe if relocating
• Nursing Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree required
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Strong adaptability and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple patient assignments effectively
