The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients while fostering positive relationships with clients. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a supportive team of veterinary professionals. 


At Wise Owl Animal Hospital, you will work in our general practice clinic providing high-quality care to our patients, educating clients, and performing surgeries. Our Doctors are supported by a team of Lead Nurses, Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Assistants. We have high nurses to doctor ratios creating a fast-paced, energetic, and friendly environment. Our equipment and facility are modern by any standard, including (but not limited to) digital radiography, a full in-house digital laboratory, and paperless, cloud based practice management software.

Qualifications:


  • Possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited college or university
  • Possession of or ability to obtain current licenses to practice veterinary medicine in Guam:
    • Guam Licensure
    • DEA License
    • Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
    • Category II USDA Accreditation
  • Maintain annual CE Requirements
  • Surgical skills, exotics, ultrasound and/or military experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Compassionate beside manner and genuine love for animals 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Commitment to providing outstanding client service an patient care
