Gastroenterology Physician

A well-established healthcare organization in Massachusetts is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) with fellowship training in Gastroenterology to support outpatient GI and endoscopy services. This opportunity is part of a strategic initiative to reduce the colonoscopy backlog and expand procedural volume across multiple outpatient sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform upper endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures
• Provide outpatient GI care across designated facilities
• Maintain a patient load of approximately 14-16 patients per day
• Work 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• No call responsibilities

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of a Gastroenterology Fellowship
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for credentialing at affiliated hospitals
• Massachusetts medical license (or willingness to obtain; licensing may extend credentialing timeline)
