JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Radiologist
• Job Type: Locum Tenens

• Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon - Fri, 7:00a - 4:00p, 7:30a - 4:30p, 8:00a - 5:00p, or 8:30a - 5:30p (flexible)

COVERAGE DATES
• 12/08/2025 - 26 weeks (minimum of 1 week per month, Monday-Friday)

PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 60-100 cases/day, with aim of 50% cross sectional if not performing procedures
• Case Mix: Inpatients, outpatients, occasional STAT list reads; mix of general radiology modalities

• Office Equipment Available: PACS (AGFA EI), Voice Recognition (Powerscribe 360)
• Specialty Backup Available: APP support (LP, paracentesis, thoracentesis, fluoroscopy, joint injections)

• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• General CT (unenhanced head, C-spine/level II trauma included)
• Ultrasound (including 1st trimester)
• X-ray
• Preferred: Abdominal MRI, fluoroscopy exams (if fellowship trained)
• Basic CT/US-guided procedures such as abscess drainages, biopsies, chest tubes, thyroid FNA (1-7 minor procedures/day, excluding fluoro)
• Fluoroscopy (optional, typically covered by RRA)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Ohio license (Required)
• Board: Board Certified in Radiology (Required)
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (Required)
• CSR: Ohio CSR Required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
• Charting: Experience with Epic preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide general diagnostic radiology services onsite, Monday through Friday
• Interpret 60-100 cases daily across inpatient, outpatient, and STAT settings
• Perform procedures as qualified and available (CT/US-guided interventions, biopsies, drainages)
• Collaborate with APPs and RRA for additional procedures and fluoroscopy support
• Document patient care and imaging interpretations in Epic EMR
• Adhere to workflow protocols (reading old-to-new within each section to prevent cherrypicking)
