Assignment Details
- Start Date: December 24, 2025 (7:00am)
- End Date: January 2, 2026 (7:00am)
- Coverage Type: 24-hour call (7a-7a)
- Setting: Inpatient hospital rounding + call coverage
- EMR: Epic
- Privileges: Required
- Estimated Credentialing: 2 weeks
- Patient Volumes: 40 per day
- Support Staff: 3 APPs
- Trauma Level: II
- Average Calls: 10-20 per night

Requirements
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Active Arkansas license (or in process if accepted with intent to license)
- ACLS, BLS
- Clean malpractice/background strongly preferred
- Availability for full holiday coverage window is required

Clinical Details
- Required procedures:
- Gallbladder, hernia, colorectal, surgical oncology, endocrine surgery
- Endoscopy (upper and lower)
- Minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures
- Vascular exposure and repair (required in trauma cases)
- Common cases: abdominal and colorectal procedures, trauma
- Trauma mix: 30% penetrating trauma requiring vascular intervention
