Hematology/Oncology Physician

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: 11/03/2025
• End Date: 10/31/2026
• Schedule: Day Shift 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday
• No call, scheduled clinic hours only

Clinical Details

• EMR: EPIC/Beacon
• Support Staff: 10 RNs, 4 MAs, 2 RN Navigators, 1 PA, 1 NP, 1 Social Worker, 2 LPNs, 4 Front Desk, 1 Patient Financial Advocate
• 20 infusion rooms
• Trauma Level: Level 1
• Provider will not supervise APPs but will provide resident or teaching supervision
• 12-14 patients per day
  • includes a mix of follow ups and new patients (maybe 1-2 new patients at most)
• Solely an outpatient clinic based position, except for the occasional inpatient coverage need that will be limited to 1 half-day (Friday PM) on an as needed basis

Requirements

• Board Level: Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
• Skills/Procedures: Proficient in using EPIC and Beacon, able to see and treat most cancer types
• Active NY License
  • Will accept IMLC provider with proof that they have a license in an IMLC state/LOQ letter until the middle of September (around 9/12) due to the start date.
• Must have Hematology & Oncology fellowship training completed and certificate in hand prior to start
