A well-established clinical lab is seeking a skilled Histotechnician to join their anatomic pathology team. This role plays a critical part in preparing high-quality tissue specimens for diagnostic evaluation.

• Perform embedding and microtomy on a variety of tissue types

• Follow all protocols for paraffin-embedded tissue processing

• Carry out special stains and immunohistochemistry (IHC) procedures as directed

• Maintain clean and organized workstations, solutions, and reagents

• Assist with case assembly, distribution, slide/block filing, and hazardous waste handling

• Contribute to quality assurance efforts and maintain documentation

• Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols and company privacy/security policies

• High school diploma or GED required

• Completion of formal histology training or documented on-the-job training

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on histology lab experience, especially in embedding and/or microtomy

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory standards
