This healthcare facility is part of a well-established health system serving the Quad Cities region. The hospital is transitioning to an inpatient hospitalist model and features a Level 1 NICU with comprehensive women's health services to support the community's needs.
Opportunity:
Board Eligible - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services with approximately 15 office and 5 hospital patient encounters per day
• Handle approximately 10 unassigned deliveries per month as part of the hospitalist team
• Perform both inpatient and outpatient services, including clinic responsibilities
• Work with a collaborative team including community providers, hospital physicians, ED, and general surgeons for emergency backup
• Support Certified Nurse Midwives in a backup capacity
• Manage gynecological responsibilities from clinic and ED call
• No circumcision responsibilities required
• Board eligible candidates within 5 years of residency are accepted
• Work within a hospital that manages approximately 120 annual deliveries
• Anesthesia coverage provided on-call at night
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
