Join a collaborative and patient-focused hospital team in Fresno county, California, as a Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist. This Locum to Perm opportunity offers a rewarding blend of inpatient and outpatient care in a supportive environment equipped with EPIC EMR and a multidisciplinary team dedicated to maternal and neonatal excellence.
Position Highlights
- Setting: Level II NICU hospital with advanced resources and team-based care
- Schedule: 5 6 shifts/month, each 24 hours (7a 7a) including weekends
- Deliveries: Average 4 5 per shift, primarily vaginal (25% C-sections)
- Patient Load: patients/day across inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic
- No on-call duties
- Holiday shifts eligible for premium pay
Requirements
- Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology Required
- Active California Medical License or application in progress Required
- BLS, ACLS, DEA certifications Required prior to start
- COVID-19 vaccination Mandatory per facility policy
- Delivery Experience Must be documented
- Malpractice/license history disclosure Required during name clear
- Experience: 1 5 years in similar practice settings Highly Preferred
- Fellowship: Not required
