Join the Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Program in the capitol city of South Carolina with a well-established outpatient clinic and the opportunity to teach medical students and pediatric residents. We recently opened an inpatient rehabilitation unit - the first in the State!

Details:

  • Presently have two PRM physicians supported by a multidisciplinary team
  • Presently have a 6-bed unit with plans to expand with the third physician
  • Support and coverage provided by hospitalists, intensivists and subspecialists

The Department of Pediatrics has a record of academic achievement, financial success, and high faculty morale. The Department which includes 20 subspecialty divisions along with our freestanding Children's Hospital presently provides 160,000 patient encounters annually with close to 10,000 inpatient admissions and over 35,000 pediatric emergency room visits.

The Department has been recognized as the best teaching clinical rotation for 32 out of the last 35 years. Opportunities in quality improvement, research, and clinical trials exist locally and systemwide with our "sister" Children's Hospital in Greenville through our Children's Service Line.
