Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse in Sanford, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in high-acuity environments and want to work alongside a collaborative, clinically strong ICU team.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The ICU RN provides advanced patient care in a critical care setting, requiring continuous monitoring, rapid response, and strong clinical judgment. This role involves managing complex, high-risk patients in a structured, team-based environment.

SCHEDULE
• Night shift with rotating weekends

COMPENSATION
• Hourly rate $33.77 to $49.06 based on experience
• Sign-on bonus: $5,000 days / $7,500 nights
• Night differential $4.50/hr
• Weekend differential $1.50/hr

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients
• Perform continuous monitoring and rapid assessments
• Respond to life-threatening conditions and emergencies
• Administer medications and manage complex treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Prioritize patient safety and quality outcomes

• Minimum 1+ year of recent ICU RN experience in acute care required
• Active RN license required (Florida or compact)
• Must obtain Florida license within required timeframe if relocating
• BSN preferred but not required
• BLS certification required
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills required
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
