Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

This position offers an engaging environment where you'll conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, helping those who have served our country. Job Responsibilities:- Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform interview-based assessments and some physical evaluations, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete reports and any necessary addendums based on the assessments conducted.
- Work on a PRN basis, with flexibility to choose half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts.
- Utilize your own office space to conduct evaluations.
- Collaborate with a supportive team and contribute to the overall health of Veterans.
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular issues.
- Hold an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
- Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.
- Must be willing to complete DMA training for certification.
- Possess a laptop (non-Mac) for documentation purposes.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
- AANP certification required.
- DMA certification or willingness to complete DMA training.
