Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner
MedExcellenceJoin a dedicated team committed to serving our nation's Veterans! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The facility offers a supportive environment where providers can work on a PRN basis, with the flexibility to choose between half-day and full-day shifts. Our mission is to deliver compassionate and thorough evaluations for Veterans, ensuring their needs are met in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
- Conduct mostly interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Submit detailed reports following evaluations, including any necessary addendums.
- Complete all required training to maintain compliance and provide optimal service.
- Engage in follow-up administrative tasks as required.
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Utah.
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular health.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine.
- Possess a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Must be willing to complete DMA training for certification.
- AANP certification required.
- Active and unrestricted full license to practice in the state of Utah.
