Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner
MedExcellenceJoin our dedicated team as a Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota, where you will play a vital role in supporting our nation's Veterans. This locum position allows you to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments at various locations, providing care to those who have served. You will be required to have your own office and work within a 25-mile radius of the designated area.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct PRN (as needed) health assessments and exam evaluations.
- Perform interview-based exams with a focus on physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete reports including any necessary addendums and opinions.
- No prescribing or treatment involved.
- Quick credentialing and onboarding process.
- Choose between half-day (4-hour) and full-day (8-hour) work shifts.
- Specialties acceptable include family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or a background in general medicine.
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- AANP certification is required.
- Possess an active and unrestricted full license in Minnesota.
- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Minnesota (MN).
- AANP certification required.
