Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join our dedicated team in providing essential health services to our nation s veterans through Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This position offers flexibility with the option to work either half or full days from your own office location in Montana!

Current Openings:

• Havre, Harlem, or Malta - 2 days per week needed

Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) is a government contractor committed to helping veterans maintain their health and wellbeing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based assessments supplemented by some physical evaluations including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
• Document findings and submit reports, including any necessary addendums, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
• Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
• Must be willing to complete DMA training for certification.
• Available for a minimum of 2 days per week.

License and Certification Requirements:

• AANP certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
• Must have a current Montana state license.
• DMA certification is beneficial but not mandatory upon application.
