Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team providing vital health services to our nation's veterans! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across New Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for those with a passion for serving veterans and making a difference in their lives. The role involves working in your own office locations within a 50-mile radius and has a flexible PRN schedule.

Current Openings:

• Lincoln, NH - 1 day per week needed
• Lebanon, NH - 1 day per week needed

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Conduct interview-based exams with a focus on physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete necessary documentation and submit reports including any required addendums.
• Collaborate with fellow professionals to ensure quality care and accurate assessments.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements related to the role.
• Participate in DMA training to achieve certification as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a laptop (Windows-based; no Mac/Apple products).
• Current AANP certification.
• Active and unrestricted full license in New Hampshire.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must possess a valid and unrestricted nursing license in New Hampshire.
• AANP certification is required.
