We are seeking General Medicine providers for Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in beautiful Oregon. This is a unique opportunity to work on a PRN basis in your own office setting. Enjoy the flexibility of working half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) at various locations, including The Dalles, Brookings, and Tilamook, OR.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
- Complete exams efficiently, including preparing and submitting reports with any necessary addendums.
- Maintain thorough documentation and follow up on administrative tasks as required.
- Engage with diverse veteran populations to evaluate their medical needs.
- Current AANP certification.
- Active and unrestricted nurse practitioner license in Oregon.
- Experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery.
- Proficiency in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular issues.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Oregon.
- AANP certification is required.
- Ability to perform as a general medicine provider.
