Job Title: Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

We are currently looking for General Medicine Nurse Practitioners to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across various locations in Michigan. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams.
• Perform Separation Health Assessments primarily through interviews and basic physical assessments.
• Evaluate patients with a focus on physical assessment areas such as range of motion and muscle strength.
• Complete associated administrative tasks such as report submissions and required follow-ups.
• Work on a PRN basis, with the flexibility to choose between half-day or full-day shifts.
• Willingness to adopt additional specialties such as Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Orthopedic Surgery.

Qualifications:

• Must have a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Michigan.
• Certified by American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
• Experience in evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Ability to perform METs testing.
• Proficient in maintaining necessary documentation and reporting.
• Must provide own office space for conducting assessments.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Michigan.
• AANP certification required.
