Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine in Louisiana

Join a dedicated team serving our nation's Veterans! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across various locations. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based exams with limited physical assessments.
• Complete reports and necessary addendums in a timely manner.
• Work on a PRN basis, with both half-day (4-hours) and full-day (8-hours) options available.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance assessment skills.
• Maintain comprehensive administrative follow-ups as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Possess a reliable laptop (No Mac/Apple products).
• Holder of an AANP certification.
• Active and unrestricted full practice license.
• Willingness to complete DMA training to become certified.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• AANP Certification.
• Active license in Louisiana (LA).
