Internal Medicine Physician

Job Title: Locum - General Medicine Physician

Overview: We are seeking dedicated General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This opportunity allows you to work alongside a reputable organization that supports our nation's Veterans. The practice operates with a PRN-based model, providing flexibility to work days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) based in your own office. Your efforts will help us ensure that Veterans receive the care and evaluations they need.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based evaluations, complemented by physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Submit thorough reports including any necessary addendums.
• Complete all required training and perform required exams to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Engage in regular follow-up administrative work related to evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Medicine or related specialties.
• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must possess an active and unrestricted full medical license in Montana.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery is a plus.
• Ability to work independently from your own office space.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Current medical license in Montana (MT).
• AANP certification.
• Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
