Internal Medicine Physician

Job Opportunity: Locum - General Medicine Physician in Washington

Join a dedicated team at Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company, focused on providing vital healthcare support to our nation's Veterans. We are currently seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This role offers flexible hours, primarily interview-based assessments, and the opportunity to work in various locations across Washington, including Oak Harbor and your own private office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
• Perform evaluations primarily through interviews with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete documentation and reporting of findings accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
• Remain flexible to work half-day or full-day shifts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board certification in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
• Experience with compensation and pension evaluations is preferred.
• Proficient in METs testing, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular issues.
• Must possess a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington.
• AANP certification is required.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
