Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - General Medicine

We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in a supportive facility focused on veteran healthcare. This opportunity allows providers to work in their own office locations with flexible scheduling, offering the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of veterans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform interview-based evaluations with physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete necessary documentation and report submissions during working hours.
• Collaborate with a team that values efficiency and quality care.
• Participate in ongoing training and credentialing process.
• Availability to work weekends if desired.

Qualifications:

• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
• Proficient in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted full medical license.
• AANP certification preferred.
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
