Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - General Medicine in Nevada

Join a dedicated team in the heart of Nevada, working with Veterans Evaluation Services, a government contractor dedicated to supporting our nation's veterans. This position focuses on performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. You'll carry out these duties from your own practice location in Pahrump, Gardnerville/Minden, or Ely, providing vital services to those who have served our country.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete all required reports and addendums in a timely manner.
• Work on a PRN basis, with the option to choose half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation as required by the organization.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, and evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Possess a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Current AANP certification.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Nevada.
• Willingness to undergo DMA training to gain DMA certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must hold an active medical license in Nevada.
• Must complete DMA training as a prerequisite for certification.
