- Logistics: Mileage, lodging, malpractice insurance, etc
- Experienced Locum Primary Care Physician to provide onsite care for individuals presenting with complex care issues in a correctional health setting.
- The facility includes specialized units such as an infirmary, dialysis center, and a special medical needs unit.
- This role is well-suited for a physician who is confident working independently and managing medically complex cases.
- Provide comprehensive primary care to individuals with complex medical needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications
- Respond to urgent and emergent health concerns
- Collaborate with onsite medical and custody teams
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
- Active Colorado Medical License (MD or DO) required
- BC/BE
- Current DEA registration required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in primary care, internal medicine, or complex care preferred
- Comfortable working independently in a secure, fast-paced environment
