Locum - Physician - General Medicine in North Carolina
Join a team dedicated to serving our nation's Veterans by providing essential Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across the beautiful state of North Carolina. Work in your own office and enjoy the flexibility of PRN assignments, tailored as per your availability. Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete required reports and addendums post-exam.
- Collaborate within a flexible schedule, working either half-days (4 hours) or full-days (8 hours).
- Quick credentialing and onboarding process.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular health.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Active and unrestricted full license in North Carolina.
- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
- Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current AANP certification.
- Must have a valid North Carolina Medical License.
- Board Certified preferred.
