Internal Medicine Physician
MedExcellenceJoin a dedicated team of General Medicine Providers performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across the beautiful state of Missouri. This role aids in supporting our nation's veterans and is vital in ensuring that they receive the assessments they deserve. This locum position offers the flexibility to work in your own office within a 50-mile radius of various towns including Cape Girardeau, St. Joseph, Mountain Grove, and more.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based exams along with physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- No prescribing or treatment will be required.
- Complete necessary administrative work including addendums and medical opinions.
- Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must own a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
- Current, active, and unrestricted full medical license in Missouri.
- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
- Active medical license in the state of Missouri.
- AANP Certification.
- DMA certification (must be willing to complete training).
