Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - General Medicine

Join our dedicated team at a leading Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) facility located in the picturesque city of Sheridan, Wyoming. We are seeking skilled General Medicine Providers to assist with Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. As a government contractor committed to serving our nation s Veterans, you'll play a crucial role in supporting their healthcare needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Primarily interview-based evaluations complemented by physical assessments, such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete administrative tasks post-exams including reports and addendums.
• Work on a PRN basis with the flexibility to choose between days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).
• Maintain an active and unrestricted medical license throughout your engagement.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
• Previous experience with compensation and pension assessments is an asset.
• Must possess a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted full medical license.
• AANP certification (preferred).
• Willingness to complete DMA training to obtain DMA certification.
