Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in northern California that has an opening for a skilled Neurosurgeon to provide locum coverage.

Opening Highlights:

• Level II Trauma
• Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a
• Daily Census: 3 admissions per provider
• Duties: ED coverage for neurosurgery and neurosurgery-trauma patients, trauma rounds, inpatient consults, and follow-ups
• Required Procedures: Surgical repair for head trauma, skull defects, and cervical/thoracic/lumbar spine management, peripheral nerve injuries, and diagnostic imaging interpretation
• APP supervision required
• EMR: Cerner Care B
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses
