• Three 12-hour shifts with blocked scheduling 7 pm to 7 am
• 30 - 40 patient census inpatient cardiology consultative service
• No outside call responds to nurses, hospitalists, and ED during shift
• EMR: Epic
• Proficiency in cardioversion and defibrillation required
• Independent practice after 2 - 3 shift orientation period
• Rounding and consultative responsibilities
• Inpatient cardiology service
