• Three 12-hour shifts per week 5:30 am - 5:30 pm
• Unit averages 22 stepdown patients in mixed ICU/stepdown setting
• First assist role for trauma and general surgery
• No call responsibilities
• Procedures include chest tube, central line, and arterial line insertion
• Trauma alert response during shift hours
• Mixed ICU and stepdown unit environment
• Case logs or letters of attestation required
