Volt is immediately hiring for a Medical Device Assembler in Saint Paul, MN - 55112 As a Medical Device Assembler, you will: This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Assemble high-quality medical devices and components within a manufacturing cell, which may include electronic assembly, casting, coating, mechanical assembly, and packaging. Operate various equipment and machinery, including microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, and syringes, following documented procedures. Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform tests using computerized equipment and repair or correct devices/components with microscopes and other tools. Clean tools and equipment according to documented procedures. Properly dispose of hazardous waste materials in designated areas. Ensure all parts are accurate and that documentation is complete during the packaging process. Make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision to prioritize tasks and ensure production goals are met This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity. Schedule: 1st Shift 4:30 AM-3:00PM and 2nd Shift: 3PM -1:30PM The Ideal Candidate will have: Medical device assembly (small part assembly)/cleanroom experience required.
