About the Role

University of Kentucky Health Care is seeking a board-certified Cardio-Oncologist to join the program as a Medical Director within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Markey Cancer Center UK Healthcare

This position will focus primarily on overseeing the multidisciplinary care of ambulatory cardio-oncology patients within the state-of-the-art cardiology facility located at the UK Markey Cancer Center, as well as providing inpatient consultations at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. The role will also involve significant teaching responsibilities, including clinical education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Compensation, Bonus, CME, & PTO

  • Compensation will be discussed with complete transparency during the phone screen
  • $5000 CME
  • Loan forgiveness bonus available
  • Annual vacation time is 22 days per year (on a prorated basis)

Qualifications

Education: M.D./D.O. degree or equivalent

Experience: Completion of residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship; strong clinical background and demonstrated teaching abilities

Certifications: Board eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine & Cardiovascular Diseases with current or eligible licensure to practice in Kentucky

Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to connect with internal and external stakeholders
