Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical and surgical management for complex benign gynecological disorders such as endometriosis, fibroids, and pelvic pain.
- Perform minimally invasive surgeries, including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and robotic surgery, with a focus on advanced techniques.
- Contribute to academic activities, including didactic lectures, curriculum development, and simulation training for residents and medical students.
- Participate in potential surgical leadership opportunities and support the growth and expansion of the MIGS division.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons from specialties such as general surgery, colorectal surgery, urology, and plastic surgery, utilizing minimally invasive techniques to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Lead or participate in groundbreaking research that advances evidence-based care in the field of gynecology.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a two-year AAGL fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
- Advanced skills in operative laparoscopy and proficiency in robotic surgery.
- Board certification or eligibility for certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- A strong record of excellence in clinical education and a passion for teaching.
- Scholarly contributions in gynecologic surgery and research are highly desirable.
- Experience with complex benign gynecologic surgery is preferred.
- No obstetrics call required.
