Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our growing practice at Lake Mary Hospital, the newest addition to the Orlando Health family.

• Hospital opening in early 2025

• Projected 1,000 annual deliveries with an average daily census (ADC) of 6 7 in the newborn nursery

• Level II NICU projected ADC of 5 6 by year-end, with 2,000 deliveries and 24/7 coverage

• Collaborative team of neonatologists, NNPs, and pediatric hospitalists

• Neonatologist onsite 8 hours daily, taking call from home thereafter

• Must reside within a 30-minute on-call response radius

• Flexible NNP schedule: 12- and 24-hour shifts available

• Supported by the Orlando Health flagship NICU at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies a 142-bed, Level IV NICU

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification

• Minimum of a master s degree

• Active Florida license required

• Certified NNP with recent clinical experience
