  • Coverage Type: Inpatient rounding & call only
  • Call Type: Beeper
  • Call Ratio: 1:1
  • Call Response Time: 30 minutes
PATIENT VOLUME & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Average Patients: 3 newborns; up to 6 total (including NICU)
  • Rounding Time: 2-4 hours/day
  • Call Volume:
    • Calls per 24 hrs: Up to 7
    • Callbacks to facility: 2-4/day
    • Admissions Required: Yes
    • Rounding: Assigned & unassigned patients
    • Beds in Facility: 6
    • EMR: McKesson ParagonLICENSING & CERTIFICATIONS
      • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - Required
      • Active North Carolina Medical License - Required
      • Fellowship Training - Preferred
      • Certifications: BLS & NRP - Required
      • Clean Malpractice & NPDB History - Required
