Setting: Outpatient (large academic hospital)
EMR: Cerner
Trauma Level 1 facility
Case mix: General, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, ENT
No OB, no open heart, no blocks
Medical direction model (CRNA/Anesthesiologist ratio 2:1 or 3:1)
Support staff: Anesthesia techs handle equipment turnover
Shift options:
8 hrs (6:30a-3:00p)
10 hrs (6:30a-5:00p)
12 hrs (6:30a-7:00p)
Thursdays start at 7:30a
Preferred Skills:
General anesthesia (adult, pediatric, trauma)
Spinal anesthesia
Neurosurgical cases (head & spine)
Thoracic cases (non-cardiac)
Complex orthopedic cases
Ventilation management
Acute volume/BP management
Central and arterial line placement
Requirements:
Certified CRNA
Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC not accepted)
BLS, ACLS, PALS required
Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience by start date
Clean malpractice and credentialing history
Will accept multiple providers
Location:
Hershey, Pennsylvania - home to Hershey's Chocolate World, with easy access to Harrisburg International Airport and the scenic Susquehanna Valley.
