Provide neonatal intensive care under physician supervision
Attend high-risk deliveries, perform resuscitation, and stabilize newborns
Independently conduct newborn transports between hospital systems, including NICU transfers
Serve as consultant to administrative, nursing, and medical staff
Lead and participate in neonatal nursing education and competency assessments
Participate in NICU/Labor & Delivery/Mother-Baby Unit quality improvement and policy work
Submit billing promptly for services performed
Engage in ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or board eligible at start
Graduation from an accredited NNP program
Active Michigan NP license
Minimum two years of NICU experience
BLS and NRP certifications
Demonstrated clinical competence and strong interpersonal skills
