We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Neurovascular Care to provide coverage during a maternity leave. This is a hospital-based role supporting an established team of neurosurgeons.
Assignment Details
- Location: Hospital-based practice with 3 neurosurgeons
- EMR: Epic
- Supervision: Collaborative team model - supervising physician always available (on-site or by phone)
- Patient Population: Adults & geriatrics
Role & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat neurovascular-related illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and coordinate care plans
- Serve as first responder to all in-facility code stroke alerts
Requirements
- AANP
- Active VA license
- ACLS, ENLS
- Neurovascular experience
